- What are the parameters for my Usernames and Passwords?
Usernames and Passwords created on ShopVDO.com must be at least 8 characters and can only contain letters and numbers. Special symbols such as periods, commas, and spaces are not allowed.
- Do I need a valid email address?
Yes. All correspondence will be sent to the customer via email. Once the initial email is sent you must respond to that message in order to setup your password and complete the registration on ShopVDO.com. If you cannot access that email you will need to use an alternate email address to complete the registration.
- Do I have to pay an Activation Fee if I am using SOLO?
Yes. The SOLO service requires a one-time activation fee of $149 to be paid before the unit will activate. At the completion of the purchase your unit will become activated.
- My unit does not have a SIM ICCID number. Do I need this?
No. Only customers who are signing up for one of the subscription services (Advanced or Premium) will need to enter a SIM ICCID number. If you are using the SOLO Service, you can proceed without entering the SIM ICCID number. For customers signing up for subscription services the SIM ICCID number can be located on the bottom of the ELD device and nowhere else. If your unit does not have a SIM ICCID number but you would like to use a subscription service, please contact us.
- The system will not allow me to type in my serial number.
If you are attempting to input your serial number but the numbers are not appearing in the box, please stop typing and click the “My Account” button on the right side of the screen. Once you are in your account please select “Show Cart” and proceed through the screens until you return to the screen requesting your serial number. The system will now allow you to type in the serial number and continue.
- Can I pay for my Activation before I receive my unit?
Yes. You can create your account and purchase a subscription or activation before you receive your equipment. Once you receive your equipment you can log into your ShopVDO.com account and input the serial number later.
- I do not see my Time Zone listed. What should I do?
The system does not populate the standard time zone selections but instead gives a city associated with the specific time zone. For example, Los Angeles represents Pacific Time, Denver – Mountain Time, Chicago – Central Time, New York – Eastern Time.
- Do I need to purchase a separate subscription when selecting FlexPay?
No. Each FlexPay option includes either a SOLO Activation or a Subscription Signup. Please do not purchase a separate subscription if signing up for FlexPay.
